A local 3rd Section Band based just over the border in Staffordshire.  Audley also have a training band called Audley 96, more information on them can also be found on the Audley Brass Band Website.

The local big boys.  Based just down the road in Sandbach Fodens are one of the most famous Brass Bands in the world featuring in the top 5 of the world rankings and holding many national and international titles.

Another local contesting band based in Crewe.  Players from this band, and the others listed here, help make up Winterley band.

Otherwise known as The Macclesfield Band, Silk Brass are another local contesting band that has seen many current and past members come through Winterley's ranks.

The National Methodist Youth Brass Band.  The only Methodist Youth Brass Band in the country.

Based in Colchester it is believed that Winterley and Boxted are the only Methodist Brass Bands still operating in the UK other than the NMYBB mentioned above.

They no longer have Methodist in there title but they still rehearse at there local Methodist church and still have strong links there.
